Overview

The purpose of K12 Digital Courses is to provide an organized collection of lessons, resources, demos, and tools necessary to achieve disciplined success in web design, video game design, and the fundamentals of digital technology. Students who take Web Design I (WD1) will be taught through direct instruction with the teacher and will learn to code with HTML and CSS, to appreciate the history of the Internet and the web, and then to apply that knowledge on two class projects. Students who take Web Design II (WD2) will be taught through independent, self-paced lessons in order to master HTML, CSS, and the applications of coding to a final enterprise project. Students who take Video Game Design II (VGD2) will be taught through direct instruction with the teacher and will learn to code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in order to design and manipulate a three dimensional gaming world of their choosing. Students who take iConnect (iC) will be taught through direct instruction with the teacher as well as through self-paced lessons in order to prepare for a Certiport Certification in Microsoft applications.
